Proposals & Invoices

Branded proposals and records-only invoices with line items, discounts, stages and PDF/HTML output.

Proposals (their own channel) are branded quotes with line items (from a product catalogue or free lines), per-line and whole-proposal discounts, terms, pipeline stages (board or list, drag-through), and a PDF / HTML render you can download or email. Create one from scratch, or Convert from a deal or ticket.

Invoices use the same machinery with kind = 'invoice': their own Invoices tab (stages Draft / Sent / Paid / Overdue), plus records fields — invoice number, external ref (Stripe/Xero id or link), issue date and due date.

Invoices are records-only (you are not charging through the app): log the invoice and its external number and produce a PDF for your records.

  • Convert to invoice — on any proposal; copies its line items into a new invoice and leaves the proposal in place (kept for records).
  • Create invoices independently too (New Invoice, from scratch).
