Channels (Your Own Areas)

Reorder, hide or create your own sidebar channels as Record, Task or Ticket types.

The sidebar areas (Clients, Deals, Projects, Assets…) are channels, and the sidebar is driven by a registry — reorder or hide any of them (built-ins included) in Settings → Channels.

Create your own there too, choosing a type:

  • Record — a list of things with custom fields (Suppliers, Equipment, Content…). Each record has an editable title, your custom fields, notes, relations, files and an activity log — the same full panel as Clients or Deals.
  • Task — works exactly like Projects. Each record is a "project": a full task list and board with editable stages, subtasks, start/due dates, time estimates, recurrence and the same task editor. (It is the identical component — a Task channel is Projects, renamed.)
  • Ticket — works exactly like Assets. Each record is an "asset": a ticket list and board with stages and a changelog that logs each ticket as it reaches the Complete stage. (Identical to the Assets experience, renamed.)

Define each channel’s stages (for Task/Ticket) and fields in Settings → Types (each channel has its own tab); the stages seed into every new record of that channel. Records appear in the sidebar and behave like the built-in entities.

A channel’s record list is a configurable table: a column per custom field, inline-editable cells, click-a-header to sort, and a Columns button to choose which fields show (remembered per channel). So you can scan and adjust records without opening each one.
