Assistant (AI)

An optional in-app assistant — open it with the star button (bottom-right). It is a general AI given a closed, curated toolset wrapping real app actions, so it can only do what those tools allow (it can’t roam freely). It can:

• Tasks — create / update (title, dates, time estimate) / move to a stage / complete; create subtasks. Task actions accept a task by name (not just an id) and ask you to pick when a name matches several open tasks.
• Everything else — create and edit clients, deals (and move stage), projects, assets, and even create new channels and their records.
• Plan your week — read all open tasks plus your working hours and propose how to fit them, then set dates (the deterministic Optimise planner is the richer, visual version of this).
• Activity & links — log an Activity Log entry (resolving the tag) and add relationships between entities.
• Notifications — summarise your recent ones.
• Email — draft a message it shows you; nothing sends until you click Approve & send.

Replies render as formatted text (markdown), and the chat window can expand across the bottom of the screen for longer conversations. Each action it takes is shown as a chip ("Created task…") so you can see exactly what happened.

Bring your own model

Settings → Assistant: Claude (Anthropic API — recommended) or a local Ollama model (free, on-device, lighter). Your key is stored encrypted; usage is billed to your own provider account. With Claude, your message plus the relevant record data is sent to Anthropic’s API to fulfil the request; local Ollama keeps everything on your machine.
