Pricing & the fine print

Where is my data stored?

Everything lives in a single SQLite file on your own machine — clients, deals, projects, tasks, money, calendar and email records. Heavy content like files and email attachments stays in your filesystem as pointers. Back it up by copying one file.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is required and SEBcentral works fully offline. You bring your own credentials for email and Google (your own OAuth app or app-passwords) — SEBcentral is not a central data broker.

Can SEBcentral charge my clients or process payments?

No. SEBcentral is not a payment processor. Invoices are records-only: you log an invoice and its external Stripe or Xero reference and produce a PDF. The app never charges cards or moves money.

Is there multi-device sync?

Multi-device sync is in development. Local mode is the default and the only fully-live mode today, so your workspace lives on one machine.

How does the AI and voice work — and what does it cost?

The AI and voice layer is opt-in and bring-your-own. The £0 path is either the on-device regex skill router or a local Ollama model. Using Claude is on your own API key. There is no bundled hosted AI.
